I received this from the guns2u people after a query regarding the
importation of some of the blank firers they are advertising. Any
cybershooter know what the legal situation id re these guns?

The Firearms Act 1982 covers this, the FSS interpret it to
mean a blank firer must have a solid barrel with a gas escape
hole at the forward end of the chamber, although there are
variations. I've seen a blank-firing revolver with an offset
escape hole through the barrel that the FSS thought was
okay.

Personally I think they're a complete waste of time, I've only
found one, the Umarex P88 Compact knock off, that actually
works reliably.

Steve.
