When I applied for my FAC (North Wales), the PC doing my home inspection was
'professional but distant'. When I mentioned I was a member of the Artist's
club at Bisley, he became animated, and asked whether such a book was
available - if so, could he borrow a copy! I'm sure this contributed to my
rapid application procedure. If anyone wrote such a book, I'm sure there'd
be a ready market for it.
