perhaps I wasn't clear -- the same problem occurred at the same place in 
the test regardless of which test it was that came first..

in the recent case I got :

AnyData

     HTMLtable ...

... and that was it... and in this case it was NOT XML, that was failing.

I did install anyway, FWIW.
