Dear Reuben, thank you for your report. I see that the file extension "m4v" is not declared in RFC 4337, which registers the media type "video/mp4". Do you know if an update of the RFC has been already suggested ? For application/x-maff, do you think that you could ask the Mozilla foundation to register a media type, like "application/vnd.mozilla.maff", to the IANA ?
