Thanks a lot for taking over polipo in Debian!
To be clear, this bug report was merely us forwarding a bug
experienced by some of our users. We could not personally reproduce
it. So, it would be of little use (I guess) if we tried this test
package of yours. Sorry not to be more helpful :(
As a side note:
* 1.0.4+git20130324-0rolf4 would be more customary a version number:
IMHO you'd rather leave the "." separator to upstream, in case
they release 1.0.4.something at some point, and you can use "+"
for you own snapshots. Most VCS snapshots in Debian use this
syntax, AFAIK.
* I find it a little bit weird that 1.0.4.git20130324-0rolf4 does
not start with 1.0.4.1, that is the last version currently in
Debian. Any particular reason for this?
