Package: psi-plus-plugins Version: 0.16.262-1 Severity: normal First, I'm not sure this bug is in psi-plus-plugins, but at the moment it seems to be the most likely package, so feel free to reassign if you think this has to be fixed somewhere else.
How to reproduce: You need two XMPP accounts, configure one in psi-plus and the other in pidgin. Check OTR support in enabled in both clients. Then start both clients and try to start an OTR session. When I'm trying to start a OTR session from pidgin I get "We received a malformed data message from myaccountname@myserver" in an endless loop on the pidgin client. Trying to start a OTR session from psi-plus seems to work as it should, however if I then try to refresh the session from pidgin the endless "We received a malformed data message from myaccountname@myserver" loop starts again. Refreshing the session from psi-plus seems to work without problems. In my test I did use pidgin 2.10.7-2 and pidgin-otr 4.0.0-1 together with psi- plus and psi-plus-plugins 0.16.262-1.
