Hi, For your information, some weeks ago, I rebuilt qemu 1.7.0+dfsg-2~bpo70 against ceph.com Wheezy backport. The packages are there: http://people.debian.org/~goneri/debian/wheezy-backports/ We use them in my company without any issue. So I support Matthias suggestion.
