dynamically linked packages are less useful in the context of Debian, as binaries linked against them will break in just about every upgrade. But anyways in GHC-7.8, GHC will by default build dynamic libraries as well and we will include them in the -dev package, so I suggest we just wait until then. Whether they will be very useful remains to be seen...
