Indeed, I noticed this and what I would like to avoid is people shunting the IANA and “registering” unregistered types to the FreeDesktop project because it looks easier. Then we will have two registrations authorities with different scopes and policies, and it will be a mess. This said, I will add x-font-pcf, as it is old enough that it will be hard to find somebody willing to register something else to the IANA.
