Hi,

on Wheezy/GNOME, when switching to an Arabic keyboard layout, each
non-Latin character on the keyboard displayed by Florence is rendered
as the famous square meaning "no such character available in this
font".

I can reproduce this with florence 0.6.0-2~bpo70+1 too. In that
version, unchecking "Use system font" in the Florence preferences
(this gives me "sans" as the font) works around this bug at least for
Arabic. I could find no such setting in 0.5.1-1.

I have not checked if a newer upstream release (0.6.1 or 0.6.2)
fixes this.

Thank you for maintaining Florence in Debian.

Cheers,
