The Freepto [1] Debian derivative is shipping this extension, presumably for good reasons. They're trying to reduce their delta with Debian, and a good step in this direction would be to have all browser extensions they ship part of Debian. Then, we at Tails [2] may consider shipping this extension too. The Freepto people are somewhat interested in maintaining this package themselves, but they lack the needed skills right now, and it'll take some time to get them up-to-speed, so it would be great if someone else tackled the initial packaging work.
