Hi, As the Debian diagnostics maintainer I'm also affected by this issue. I cannot necessarily offer to spend a great deal of time on ACE packaging, but I'm certainly willing to help as much as I can.
If this bug cannot be fixed on time for jessie, I'll have to disable ACE in diagnostics after all :-( Best, Michael
