Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.7.53.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

upgraded 64-core box from wheezy to jessie, eth1 and eth2 come up with static
IPs, but eth0 will not come up:

$ sudo ifup eth0
/bin/sh: /sys/module/rcutree/parameters/rcu_cpu_stall_suppress: Permission
denied
Failed to bring up eth0.

I see that there is no /sys/module/rcutree/parameters/rcu_cpu_stall_suppress,
but there is a /sys/module/rcupdate/parameters/rcu_cpu_stall_suppress

Thank You,

Jim
