Package: libgl2ps1 Version: 1.3.9-1 Severity: important With the latest gl2ps package being synced to Ubuntu, I've noticed that the libgl2ps1 package has a Breaks/Replaces against libgl2ps0 (<< 1.3.9-1~exp1). These package relationships are unnecessary, as the two packages contain no overlapping files. Furthermore, package relationships of this type make partial upgrades more difficult, which both unnecessarily complicates calculation of upgrade paths between releases, and inconveniences users with locally-installed software that uses the soname from the old stable release.
As far as I can see, the only version of libgl2ps0 that was ever in the archive that had a conflicting filepath was version 1.3.8-2 (bug #824882). A Breaks/Replaces against this exact version would address any upgrade problems there, without impacting users of stable releases.
