Hallo Eric I am seeing the same:dnscrypt-proxy.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'. after update to Version: 1.8.1-4 I notice the change in the files list from :
/./etc/etc/default/etc/default/dnscrypt-proxy/etc/init.d/etc/init.d/dnscrypt-proxy..................................................... to : /./etc/etc/dnscrypt-proxy/etc/dnscrypt-proxy/dnscrypt-proxy.conf................................................................................. I am only a novice but this seems to be my problem: I was changing the 3 files /etc/default/dnscrypt-proxy/etc/init.d/dnscrypt-proxy/lib/systemd/system/dnscrypt-proxy.service to show my preferred DNSCRYPT_PROXY_RESOLVER_NAME= and it was working quite successfully until the update does this throw any light on our problem ? thanks Peter
