Package: ltsp-server Version: 5.5.9-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
in Debian Jessie I was able to run ltsp-localapps qjackctl which was fully functional. Together with Qsynth I was able to tech children music on thin clients. Now, in Debian Stretch, if I run ltsp-localapps qjackctl the desktop freezes. I am able to switch to thin client's commandline console and shut down the running qjackctl process. The desktop unfreezes immediately. However, qjackctl is useless this way. -- Package-specific info: chroot information: /opt/ltsp/amd64 -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=sk_SK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sk_SK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ltsp-server depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.60 ii debconf-utils 1.5.60 ii debootstrap 1.0.89 ii gettext-base 0.19.8.1-2 ii iproute2 4.9.0-1 ii lsb-release 9.20161125 ii openssh-client 1:7.4p1-9 ii python 2.7.13-2 ii tcpd 7.6.q-26 Versions of packages ltsp-server recommends: ii gnupg 2.1.18-6 ii nbd-server 1:3.15.2-2 ii openbsd-inetd [inet-superserver] 0.20160825-2 ii openssh-server 1:7.4p1-9 ii squashfs-tools 1:4.3-3+b1 ii tftpd-hpa 5.2+20150808-1+b1 Versions of packages ltsp-server suggests: pn audiooss <none> ii gnome-session [x-session-manager] 3.22.3-1 ii isc-dhcp-server 4.3.5-3 ii ldm-server 2:2.2.18-2 ii libasound2-plugins 1.1.1-1 ii ltsp-docs 1.2-1 ii ltspfs 1.4-2+b1 ii marco [x-window-manager] 1.16.0-1 ii mate-desktop-environment 1.16.0+1 ii mate-session-manager [x-session-manager] 1.16.1-1 ii metacity [x-window-manager] 1:3.22.1-1 ii mutter [x-window-manager] 3.22.3-2 ii pulseaudio 10.0-1 pn qemu-user-static <none> pn sdm <none> ii x11-utils 7.7+3+b1 ii xauth 1:1.0.9-1+b2 -- debconf information: ltsp-server/build_client: false
