Package: ipcalc Version: 0.41-5 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
In the help output from ipcalc the program claims that '-c' performs two different functions: $ ipcalc --help | grep -- '-c' -c --color Display ANSI color codes (default). -c --class Just print bit-count-mask of given address. It seems that only the '--color' variant works. I suggest we either remove the short version of the '--class' option, or ideally rename it to something that is more appropriate with the removal of "classes" from the codebase in #872061. Happy to produce a patch to do either if some guidance can be given on what is desired. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_NZ:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ipcalc depends on: ii perl 5.24.1-3+deb9u1 ipcalc recommends no packages. ipcalc suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
