It looks to me that the end of Alioth came too soon/sudden for various people/ groups. I do have a Salsa (-guest) account, but haven't diven into it yet. > I can't speak for other pkg-running team members, but Ralf and Noèl > have low activity too....which, of course, brings concerns about > packages we maintained over the years. > > In anycase, NMU with patches even to fix "trivial" stuff are highly > welcomed. I don't have the expertise and probably not the proper rights to move things over to Salsa. I can probably figure out how to make various 'drive by' patches once it is on there, but anything more substantial is probably out of my league for quite a while. I have subscribed to the package tracker in case things change, but for now I'm not going to assume they will. This is in line with what I found on the internet when it comes to Garmin and other watches in combination with Linux. Most projects seem abandoned or become proprietary and lots of Q&A aren't relevant anymore and/or link to pages that no longer exist. Too bad, but it is what it is. Thanks for your response and good luck with your new priorities :) Cheers, Diederik
