Thanks for the patch, Jan. Indeed, it fixes the problem for me and memtest86+ runs fine even in SMP mode. I've *not* applied the patch from Message #15. Do you think it should be applied as well? For the records: It seems that even without your patch, SMP mode runs fine, when the core selection is changed from All to Round Robin (haven't checked the other modes). Yann, could you apply the patch from Jan please? I've also increased the severity to normal... SMP is what all modern CPUs do, so ideally memtest86+ should do that as well... and since it's been broken on many modern systems, at least normal should be justified. Cheers, Chris.
