Hi.

I believe I found a workaround.

 1. Delete handlers.json file from the Thunderbird profile.
 2. Restart Thunderbird.
 3. Click on http link -> you will get offer which app you want to open
    the link with. As I use Debian, I select other and use
    /etc/alternatives/x-www-browser
 4. Click on https link -> you will get offer which app you want to open
    the link with. As I use Debian, I select other and use
    /etc/alternatives/x-www-browser
 5. Should work again.
