I fear that this code path (using -s in IUCODE_TOOL_EXTRA_OPTIONS) is
hardly tested. For the beginning could you please provide the output of
the following commands:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/microcode/version
sh -x /usr/lib/needrestart/iucode-scan-versions
