Serf's testsuite uses some pre-generated SSL certs, which have an expiry of 3 years. The timebomb has gone off, and serf is currently FTBFS (#911714). The pending upstream release now has a script which generates the certs, so I've backported that and run it every build. Since an upload was needed, I also included a NULL pointer dereference fix (#893688). The package has already been uploaded.
