Clearly I've been focused on library deps only and didn't understand the importance of the utility commands. Let me dig down and understand this better. BTW, I posted the message #15 about co-installability of fuse and fuse3 before I saw your message. Did #912528 only solve part of the problem? There appears to be a disconnect between the Bugs database and reality. Building a modified package locally is something I certainly need to learn how to do, so I'll work on that.
