Thanks. However, I am not a Debian developper / maintainer, and looking for a sponsor with a good chance of getting into prestige fights with another developper sounds like an unlikely path.
Would an NMU be appropriate for the current situation ? I would still need a sponsor I suppose, but the process seems less aggressive. If so, how should I go about getting a sponsor ? ----- Mail original ----- > De: "David Bremner" <brem...@debian.org> > À: "Itaï BEN YAACOV" <can...@free.fr>, 968...@bugs.debian.org > Envoyé: Mardi 11 Août 2020 15:12:26 > Objet: Re: Bug#968237: ITP: auctex-12 -- AUCTeX version 12, LaTeX environment > for Emacs > > Itaï BEN YAACOV <can...@free.fr> writes: > > > Package: wnpp > > Severity: wishlist > > Owner: Itaï BEN YAACOV <can...@free.fr> > > X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org > > > > * Package name : auctex-12 > > Version : 12.2 > > Upstream Author : GNU Project > > * URL : https://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/ > > * License : GPL v3 > > Description : AUCTeX version 12, LaTeX environment for Emacs > > > > Hello, > > > > This is not truly an ITP but a request for guidance. > > auctex v11.91 already exists in Debian, and has not been updated > > since > > 2018 despite bug reports requesting that.
