Package: caja-dropbox Version: 1.20.0-4 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
when installing the package, it currently displays the following advertising: Dropbox is the easiest way to share and store your files online. Want to learn more? Head to https://www.dropbox.com/ I find this very questionable - why does debian make (likely false) claims like this? On what base is dropbox advertised as the "easiest way to share and store your files online"? I think this should simply be removed, especially as it is likely not even true. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, x32 Kernel: Linux 5.6.19-050619-generic (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages caja-dropbox depends on: ii dbus-x11 1.12.20-0+deb10u1 ii gir1.2-gdkpixbuf-2.0 2.38.1+dfsg-1 ii gir1.2-glib-2.0 1.58.3-2 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.24.5-1 ii gir1.2-pango-1.0 1.42.4-8~deb10u1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.30.0-2 ii libc6 2.30-4 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.16.0-4 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-4 pn libcaja-extension1 <none> ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.38.1+dfsg-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.58.3-2+deb10u2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.5-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.42.4-8~deb10u1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.42.4-8~deb10u1 ii policykit-1 0.105-25 ii procps 2:3.3.15-2 ii python 2.7.16-1 ii python-gpg 1.12.0-6 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-5.1+b1 ii python3 3.7.3-1 ii python3-gi 3.30.4-1 ii python3-gpg 1.12.0-6 caja-dropbox recommends no packages.
