I got the same problem with Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com), both embeded and in the web site. Same conditions as the OP: ALSA-only system, audio working without any problem in any site (YouTube, Vimeo... or opening audio or video files in the browser), except in Soundcloud; also, the workaround using apulse works. -- David
