reportbug does ask for a port - in the question about the smtphost:

| If you need to use a different port than default, use the

I think having it integrated in this question is a good idea, because
most people do not need a non-default port and non-technical users would
get more confused if we added an extra question about the port.
Therefore I believe this issue is more a user support issue than a bug
in reportbug. Closing this bug accordingly.
