Package: gssproxy Version: 0.8.2-1 Severity: normal Hi,
On a server I recently installed, I saw its behavior was different from older ones wrt to gssproxy and NFS mounts. On this new server, I saw that /etc/gssproxy/99-nfs-client.conf is missing. Looking into git log of the packaging, I see two commit with the same message: ef6d35f7: Stop providing NFS server config snippet (Closes: #856965) 83da02b8: Fix #856965 by dropping NFS server config snippet The problem is that the second one (83da02b8, the older) is, in fact, removing the NFS *client* config. Is it really wanted? Regards, Vincent PS: about the NFS server config snippet, the config file is removed from new packages, but it is not removed on machine on upgrades, even if the file has not been modified. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, armel, mipsel Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gssproxy depends on: ii libc6 2.31-9 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.18.3-4 ii libgssrpc4 1.18.3-4 pn libini-config5 <none> ii libk5crypto3 1.18.3-4 ii libkrb5-3 1.18.3-4 ii libpopt0 1.18-2 pn libref-array1 <none> ii libselinux1 3.1-2+b2 ii libverto1 0.3.1-1 gssproxy recommends no packages. gssproxy suggests no packages.
