The "caught XIO error:" leads to this upstream bug reports: https://github.com/LibVNC/x11vnc/issues/147 https://github.com/LibVNC/x11vnc/issues/154 With the mentioned option "-noxdamage" I could stop getting this error. I received this with a i686 system updated to bullseye/testing today, running a plasma desktop.Unfortunately I could not reproduce this connecting to a similar installation inside qemu VM.
