Asked a bit around, and got the following hint from Niels Thykier: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=595810#10 so that might work, first exclude with -X in dh_strip and then call strip manually, keeping BEGIN_trigger and END_trigger. Niels, thanks for the pointer! Regards, Salvatore
