Hello Tobias, upstream did release new versions of gerbv. I've uploaded 2.8.0-1 to unstable recently.
Upstream also moved now to GitHub and there is now also a bug report with the exact same topic as you reported in the past into the Debian BTS. https://github.com/gerbv/gerbv/issues/65 If you have new discoveries, specially in the new version of gerbv please forward them to the bug report on GH. -- Regards Carsten
