I'm still experiencing the same issue after system update.
Current versions:
$ uname -a
Linux fortune 5.10.0-18-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.140-1 (2022-09-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux

$ sudo modinfo nvidia-current | grep -e '^version'
version:        470.141.03

I've also found out that system freezes won't happen, if I disable hardware video acceleration in my browser (Mozilla Firefox 104.0.2 (64-bit)). I've wrote a bash script that will be executed automatically by syslogd daemon, if "Xid" error message will be written to syslog. This script gracefully shuts down "lightdm" service, unloads nvidia kernel modules and restarts "lightdm" service, making it so nvidia kernel modules will be loaded again. I loose user session in the process, having to logon again, but at least it is not a full system reboot...
