I'm not completely sure yet (my TeX-foo isn't that great), but I have narrowed the cause of the problem down. It looks like the problem is something to do with the '\textlogo' command that is used when the 'mflogo.sty' TeX package is available. It is referenced once in the 'feynmf.dtx' file, and this appears to be what leads to the build failure. If that clue is useful for you or someone else, please feel free to use that to develop a fix.
