As of version 5, OpenMPI will no longer support 32-bit systems. The upcoming 
mpi-defaults transition reflects this, making MPICH the only MPI variant for 
32-bit systems.

Please  limit the B-D on libopenmpi-dev to 64-bit only (ie  
$(OPENMPI_AVAILABLE_ARCHITECTURES) ).
