After try to force_checkout again. Just svn checkout http://svn.gnome.org/svn/gnome-common/trunk gnome-common or svn ls http://svn.gnome.org/svn/gnome-common/ Maybe the jhbuild issue some options to svn that extra than "svn checkout", I will try to find it if I can.
