Package: wmaker Version: 0.92.0-7 Severity: important
After update && dist-upgrade from Debian testing to testing (yes, not a typo, testing to testing), Window Maker 0.92.0 is much slower now. All operations lag behind. Xorg is constantly consuming processor time. I tested FVWM also, but it DOES NOT suffer from the same performance problem. The system works, but it is practically unusable. I have nvidia HW, but I don't use their drivers. I didn't get any unusual kernel messages either. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25.6 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages wmaker depends on: ii cpp 4:4.2.3-10 The GNU C preprocessor (cpp) ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfontconfig1 2.5.0-2 generic font configuration library ii libwraster3 0.92.0-7 Shared libraries of Window Maker r ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxft2 2.1.12-2 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxinerama1 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Xinerama extension library wmaker recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Heikki Orsila [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.iki.fi/shd -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
