Package: sgt-puzzles Version: 7983-1 Severity: minor In Unequal, areas outside squares to the top and left are sensitive to clicks, as well as all of the squares themselves; but areas to the bottom and right are not similarly sensitive.
I believe this is caused by the Debian-specific patch 104_fix-unequal-hit-detection.diff. I haven't dug into the history, but I'm guessing this was intended to "recentre" the hit detection so that clicks outside of their squares applied to their nearest squares. However, as of r7400 (Mar 2007), upstream disallows clicks between squares entirely; I believe the Debian behaviour is a result of the interaction of these two changes. So, I'd recommend removing that patch from the Debian package. (Found while reviewing patches for applicability to upstream. I admit I didn't actually run the Debian binary package, but I reviewed the source and built it on Ubuntu, which should be equivalent.) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
