When I run the file attached, the plot window closes unexpectedly. I
can avoid this problem by not setting the fontsize to 14 (13 is OK).

The file debug.gp is generated by Octave using the sequence of
commands given at: 
https://www-old.cae.wisc.edu/pipermail/bug-octave/2009-November/009763.html
