Package: libqscintilla2-6 Version: 2.5.1-1 Severity: wishlist
Sorry for this newbie question: Why did you change the package *name* for a *version* change? The package changed its name from libqscintilla2-5 to libqscintilla2-6 It made, for instance, serna package uninstallable, see Bug #640948. A rebuild of the serna package against the new libqscintilla2-6 is sufficient to get it working again. Shouldn't it be enough to change the version in the package and not the name? -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_BE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_BE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libqscintilla2-6 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-18 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.6.1-4 GCC support library ii libqtcore4 4:4.7.3-5 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.7.3-5 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.6.1-4 GNU Standard C++ Library v3 libqscintilla2-6 recommends no packages. libqscintilla2-6 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
