Package: openjdk-6
Version: 6b18-1.8.7-2~squeeze1
Severity: wishlist

Hello, thanks for all your work in this package, I know that packaging
openjdk is a lot of work.

I have been hit by a bug similar to #584213 ("openjdk-6-jdk:
Glassfishv3 administration fails to load..").

This was fixed in "6b20~pre1-1", but the last version in stable is
"6b18-1.8.7-2~squeeze1". In my work I need to use Glassfish, so I made
my own backport, this fixed the problem with the Glassfishv3
administration.

It would be great if you could provide a backport through
http://backports-master.debian.org.

Or perhaps you might consider sponsoring my own backport of
openjdk-6 "6b23~pre7-1".

Here is the dsc:
http://jmaslibre.org/debian/openjdk-6/build_2011-09-26_05-10-38/openjdk-6_6b23~pre7-1~bpo60+1.dsc

Here is the interdiff result:
http://jmaslibre.org/debian/openjdk-6/build_2011-09-26_05-10-38/openjdk-6-interdiff-6b23~pre7-1_vs_6b23~pre7-1~bpo60+1.diff

It is piuparts clean, using --warn-on-leftovers-after-purge:
Backport piuparts log:
http://jmaslibre.org/debian/openjdk-6/build_2011-09-26_05-10-38/openjdk-6_6b23~pre7-1~bpo60+1_amd64.changes.piuparts.log

I am using "--warn-on-leftovers-after-purge" due to left files on the
system under "/etc/.java/", this behavior is the same in the openjdk-6
"6b23~pre7-1" in testing:
http://piuparts.debian.org/wheezy/pass/openjdk-6-jdk_6b23~pre7-1.log

Here is the lintian log:
http://jmaslibre.org/debian/openjdk-6/build_2011-09-26_05-10-38/openjdk-6_6b23~pre7-1~bpo60+1_amd64.changes.lintian.log
I found no new warnings compared to:
http://lintian.debian.org/full/open...@lists.launchpad.net.html#openjdk-6

Here is the build log (It took 3 hours -03:15:44- using cowbuilder) :

In the build log I found some tests failed, but those are similar to
the results in the build log in debian testing:
