Well, I'm not aware of anything, they were different computers under different environments, some had anacron, others just plain cron, some were running directly against the repositories, others going through proxies, I have tracked 3 or four machines with this problem wich were as you can see in quite different environments, even different locations and Internet providers. On the apache specifics, some of them have quite some changes on virtualhost configs, I mean, adding a few webs and things like that, but nothing serious, a couple of them have libapache2-mod-php5 to run squirrelmail, but then there is onother one which doesn't and is quite a plain default install just to serve a couple of static files. > Yes, this is definitely a critical bug in my book too, I just need > some more clues (or a way to reproduce) to figure out how to fix it :/ Well I don't now how to help you here, I still have the machine in the hanged status around if you need any other info from it and I can try to send whatever you want from the other ones.
