Reported on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pbuilder/+bug/609106 The manpage pbuilderrc(5) states: COMPONENTS=main Specify the default distribution components to use. This option is space-delimited. This option only affects when doing pbuilder create or when --override-config is specified for pbuilder update option. However, using the line: COMPONENTS=main universe will fail with a message that the universe command cannot be found - because this value is space-delimited, it is interpreted as two separate commands.
