Great Britain == England, Wales, Scotland United Kingdom == England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland British Isles == England, Wales, Scotland, All of Ireland, and probably a few other bits and bobs into the bargain. Full name of the UK is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". So using "GB" as a country code is incorrect, as Great Britain is *NOT* a country, really.
