Unfortunately, any sufficiently large community seems to have people
whose contributions are not entirely (or sometimes not at all)
constructive. I'm sure there are people in and around Debian whose
opinions you wouldn't want to be associated with, and not every
community has someone as patient and diplomatic as Russ moderating its
discussions.
