Hello,

On a recent grip debootstrap I found some issues which I believe are
brought by the installed fake start-stop-daemon:

 * udev fails to upgrade, due udevd is running and it can not bind
control socket

 * dbus and hal also are not running or some issues are afecting them,
so no network-manager or wicd is able to run,
zu...@debian:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/dbus start
Starting system message bus: dbus
Warning: Fake start-stop-daemon called, doing nothing
.
Can't start Hardware abstraction layer - please ensure dbus is running
... failed!
Starting network connection manager: NetworkManager
Warning: Fake start-stop-daemon called, doing nothing
.
Starting Network connection manager: wicd.

Renaming the binary start-stop-daemon.REAL (maybe brought by
grip-config package) to start-stop-daemon fixes the issue.
I better close this one then.
