I see why you say that - it is a kernel header, but it's getting installed by libc6-dev. steve:~$ dpkg -S /usr/include/linux/cdrom.h libc6-dev: /usr/include/linux/cdrom.h I am building in a pbuilder chroot, no kernel headers installed there. However, if you think that because the header originally comes from the kernel, that's where it belongs, you can reassign.
