And I happily help if I can. It is a bit complicated though since Debian Med is not a body on its own and cannot hold money itself. That said, Debian does not hold money itself, either. Our leader@d.o needs to be involved if the application uses Debian's name and Debian will not ask for funding for itself. But money is not what you are aiming for, right?
My personal goal would be to have ELIXIR accept Debian Med as a means to express the provenance of their data - formally or by a Docker instance or ... whatever. Travel money? Workshops? Be integrated in information flow? What are we asking for?
