What is the exact dpkg-shlibdeps command you are using? Have you set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to the location of the newly generated libraries in the installation tree, thus, for example, for a pspell package: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=debian/libpspell2/usr/lib dpkg-shlibdeps \ debian/pspell/usr/bin/* Julian -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Julian Gilbey, Dept of Maths, Queen Mary, Univ. of London Debian GNU/Linux Developer, see http://people.debian.org/~jdg Donate free food to the world's hungry: see http://www.thehungersite.com/
