FYI, I mentioned UDD in the talk I gave @ WOPDASD 2009 workshop : http://www-public.it-sudparis.eu/~berger_o/weblog/2009/06/06/presentation-at-wopdasd-2009-weaving-a-semantic-web-across-oss-repositories-a-spotlight-on-bts-link-udd-swim/ I illustrated it by "looking for Jesus in Debian"... and the news is that there are 2 ;) Joke apart, discovering UDD and its tables like carnivore, was quite interesting for a few researchers. So, expect more interest from academic community in Debian through UDD mining in the future, then... and discussions about privacy issues maybe...
