ruby1.9 currently FTBFS on amd64 (see bug 321316). So, there's no ruby1.9 or ruby1.9-dev packages on amd64. So, packages which build-dep on ruby1.9-dev won't get built on amd64. So, those packages won't migrate to testing. Questions : - Is it really a good idea to build-dep on ruby1.9 currently ? Shouldn't we just build for ruby1.8 ? - Are there some updated packages for ruby1.9 fixing the FTBFS in preparation ?
